About Me
I have been practicing horsemanship for 20+ years and used to competed in shows when I was a teenager. I have also worked as horse trekking guide for several different outfits, gaining more training experience along the way. I have moved to a more holistic style of riding and training em-compressing methods from many different disciplines, and styles of riding.
Training methods
I use a no force method of gentling called Operant Conditioning. It combines the use of positive and negative reinforcements for shaping behavior (training) horses desirable behaviors and removing undesirable behaviors. I primary gentle mustangs but will start horses under saddle. Riding horse can have either basic W/T/C training, or extensive trail riding.

This is a short documentary about America’s wild horses and my small part in helping solve a huge problem.
Since 1971 the US Federal Government has been tasked with protecting our country’s wild horses. There are now more 88,000 mustangs in the US, 60% more than the land has capacity to support. As yearly round-ups fill ever-expanding holding pens, the government is stuck with an expensive and divisive dilemma.
